VIM’s St. Charles Clinic provides primary medical treatment for adults without health care insurance and without the economic means to pay for even their basic medical needs.
VIM provides most medications (during clinic hours) at no cost to patients once prescribed by a physician at the clinic.

Diabetes Management and Education – The Clinic offers one-on-one education with a pharmacist for diabetic patients. We also provide blood glucose monitoring at the clinic and assist patients with acquisition of home glucose monitoring equipment. A Registered Dietician is also available for patient consultation.

Counseling – One-on-one services are provided in clinic

Specialty Referral – Several physician specialists volunteer at Volunteers in Medicine. In addition, our clinic staff coordinates patient visits with other specialists.
